I am Andrew D Crowley, owner and Funeral Director of the business, please accept my most sincere condolences if you are experiencing a bereavement.
An Ambition Realised
Since I was 6 years old I wanted to be a funeral director and in 1984 at the age of 17 I managed to realise my ambition and I started work for a large company called Dottridge Brothers that owned a business under the local name of A. Seaward & Sons in Tottenham. It was here I was taught how to upholster and furnish the coffins and engrave the name plates. Today I still carry out the preparation and furnish the coffins the way I was taught.
I quickly moved into the Offices where I learnt how to arrange funerals with bereaved families. By the age of 18 years old I was the companies youngest ever branch manager and by 22 years old I was promoted to a busier office where I Conducted funerals more regularly. In 1991 I gained the National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma in Funeral Directing and the Higher Diploma in 2003. Over the years I have mainly worked for the two large corporate businesses of Dignity and latterly the Co op.
Having been associated with the town of Waltham Abbey since 1990, working for two of the local businesses, I felt the time is right for me to return to the Town to start my own business and continue looking after the bereaved families and their loved ones.
Should your loved one have a preference of an alternative hearse to be used, please feel free to enquire of what different funeral vehicles are available and the costs.
